Fics like Hold Me, Console Me, Then I'll Leave Without a Trace

For some reason, Cheng Xiaoshi thinks back to when he’d made the dive to the night of that earthquake. Lu Guang had told him that all those people were already dead, and what he was seeing was just a small piece of the past. If Lu Guang was with him on this dive, he would probably say the same of himself. But he’s here, isn’t he? Cheng Xiaoshi can feel the warmth of his hand as he leads him upstairs, the softness of his lips as he kisses him. He hears the tenderness in his voice when he says Cheng Xiaoshi’s name. He sees the look of utter adoration in his eyes as he watches him. He’s real. And at this moment, he’s alive. If Cheng Xiaoshi wants to believe that’s true, just for a little while, what’s so wrong with that? Or How Cheng Xiaoshi might cope if Lu Guang died in his place
