But when her doctor warns her time is running out to have a baby, she takes matters into her own hands. Step 1: Find the perfect sperm donor. Step 2: Let her sister Missy and best friend Ellen throw an insemination party. Step 3: Become a mother. Easy, right? Except Fox Mulder shows up. Her ex-flame turned best friend doesn’t like her donor, Ed Jerse, one bit. Jealous? No, just “protective.” But after a few too many drinks at the insemination party (thanks to Missy), Mulder spirals into a tequila haze and stumbles into the bathroom—where chaos is waiting. The next morning, Mulder wakes up missing a shoe, hungover, and haunted by the feeling he did something life-altering. He just can’t remember what. But he’s sure of one thing: Scully’s going to kill him for it.
