Fics like Wildest Fantasies (Newghlan's version in ENGLISH)

Luke Newton’s journey from actor to author has taken an unexpected turn. Four years after publishing his daring romance novel, the 31-year-old has successfully adapted it into a film, starring as the protagonist, Luca. Inspired by his time living in Rio de Janeiro, the story follows two lifelong friends whose trip to the Cidade Maravilhosa sparks a deep, unexpected connection. Nicola Coughlan takes on the role of Navy, a casting choice that has drawn attention. Her long-standing friendship with Luke reportedly influenced her selection at a time when she is navigating professional challenges, including ageism in the industry. Filming in Brazil, scheduled to last four months, has already sparked controversy, particularly due to Luke’s turbulent relationship with influencer Antonella, who disapproves of his extended absence from England. As the lines between reality and fiction blur, Luke will face hard truths about mistakes and redemption, while Nicola discovers that her own beliefs may not be as unshakable as she thought.
