Roz is struggling to connect with the other Rozzums. So many of them are so... devoid of anything past their current task. Finding a way to get back to Brightbill is taking longer than she thought, so she decided she needed help. But some of her findings lead her to question if she'd be so willing to leave, when some of the Rozzums show glimpses of something other than their programming. Like her. She so wanted to not be alone. Did they not too deserve to have the ability to feel, and think for ones own? To not be emotionless when Roz was proof they could feel joy and love? Miles away, Brightbill is waiting for Roz to return from her migration. With some help from Fink, he is able to put into words what he really wants to be; a good leader. (Un)Luckily for him, something takes hold of the island. Something abnormally quick, invisible, and deadly. The island looks to him for courage, and he cannot falter. As Roz's heart is torn between the Island and her fellow Rozzums, and Brightbill deals with more on his plate than he bargained for, both must overcome betrayals, figure out mysteries, and survive long enough to meet each other again. How many casualties will it take for them to reunite?
