'Gas station.' His dad laid it out like a winning hand of poker, drumming his fingers on the blotter on his desk. 'The diner. The school parking lot. Your Jeep was seen parked next to his car in the Preserve. His Camaro was spotted down the street from our house. Seven times. In the past month.' 'Each of those has a reasonable explanation: coincidence; coincidence; he was picking up Isaac, who goes to my school.' Stiles ticked them off on his fingers, his mind racing for reasons his dad might believe. Somehow he doubted "I've joined a pack of werewolves and we fight crime/paranormal shit!" would win him any favours, even if it was the truth. 'The Jeep broke down and he stopped to help. At least not yet. (Based on the word refuge, for Jherek)
