Fics like The Powerpuff Girls 2016 REWRITE

The Powerpuff Girls 2016 reboot is pretty notorious for being one of the worst remakes a cartoon has ever have. From it's focus on more slice of life aspects instead of action, to the flanderization of it's 3 main heroines. And even some quite inappropriate, and gross content at times. Safe to say that it did not capture the original charm of the classic 1998 show. So that's what this rewrite will attempt to capture. I will rewrite the 2016 show as if it where the follow up to the show instead of the one we got. The style of this story will be in the form of a classic Shonen battle series, with the girls aged up to high school, and the tone being a little bit edgier than the original cartoon. I did this, because I believe it's a natural stylistic progression from the often edgy, and brutal fight scenes from the original show, as well as it's just more fun to write it that way. Think of each individual chapter as if it were a 22 min episode of the show). This is the first serious attempt at long form storytelling from me, so I apologize in advance if the quality isn't quite up to standard. So without further ado, this is my rewrite of The Powerpuff Girls 2016.
