Fics like come back...be here

"His eyes lock with a familiar whiskey brown, a kind that he hasn’t seen in over a decade. It’s a strange, disorienting sensation, this clash of familiarity and unfamiliarity. He can still see traces of the man he loved, but so much has changed, and Sirius can’t shake the feeling that the man standing before him is a stranger in so many ways. A stranger wearing the face of someone he once knew better than anyone else." OR It's been twelve years since Sirius broke Remus' heart and the other man ran across the world to New York. So it's safe to say, that when Remus comes back to London after all of those years of no contact, Sirius' head spins. After a battle with addiction and years of therapy, Sirius is determined to show Remus how much he's changed. Because he still loves him after all, that never changed. However, things aren't always that easy... are they? There are more than a few spanners thrown in the works. A story first and foremost about Sirius Blacks recovery journey.
