Fics like In the shadow of the future

Bilbo Baggins accompanies Thorin and his fellowship on their epic journey to Erebor. But what no one suspects is that Bilbo has traveled back in time. With the knowledge of the disasters that await the Fellowship, he does everything he can to change their destinies - even if it means sacrificing himself. As Bilbo takes ever greater risks, the dwarves begin to believe that he has given up on himself. But the little hobbit is pursuing a greater goal: he wants to rewrite not only the fate of his companions, but the whole of history. Will Bilbo find the balance between his selfless devotion and his own future - or is he in danger of losing himself in his quest for change? ♥ Thanks to all the kudos and comments ♥
