Fics like Song of Myself

Whatever the reason that Ororon was allowed in, it very clearly made him happy that he was. His expressions were small, as they always were, but anyone could see the gentle smile that appeared on his features whenever he was in the camp, around the Fatui who were so kind to him. Around the Captain. Especially around the Captain, if he was honest. He was someone who had simple wants, and always pursued them whenever he had the opportunity. He cared deeply about the things that he wanted: for his vegetables to grow strong, for his aphids to be content. For his Granny and Ifa to be happy. They were all simple things. Recently, however, he’d noticed that he’d wanted to be around the Captain more often than not. He wanted to have his attention on him, as selfish as it was.
