Fics like Baby, It's Cold Outside

Wyll had never been good at wanting things. It always came with a tremendous amount of guilt that almost made the things he wanted no longer worth it. But even with the guilt, his heart had never ceased its dreadful longing, and that had only grown the longer Wyll spent away from Astarion. Now that he was here, sitting in front of Wyll and smiling as though no time had passed at all, Wyll’s heart wanted nothing more than to rip itself from his chest and take permanent residence in Astarion’s hands. Instead, Wyll hid the nervous clearing of his throat behind the sound of the tap water, and hung the rag over the side of the basin to dry. He turned back to Astarion, resuming his professionalism. "What can I get you, my friend?” he asked. ~ It's been a year since they defeated the Netherbrain, and Wyll has made a life for himself out in the wilds of the Sword Coast. When Winter comes, and Wyll sequesters within a tavern inn, he's joined by an old friend who hasn't left his mind - or his heart - even after all this time. Update: I added two new chapters to this thing. Enjoy!
