Fics like then it becomes a problem

The Iron Swords prayed to their Chosen One every day. A swing offered at a statue shrine- one each, at least. The Iron Swords prayed to their Chosen One before killing him, asking for the Gods' good will from the abundant sacrifice. This energy, this culmination of worship- it all falls upon Evbo's shoulders. In reality, he may not be the true 'Chosen One' people believe he is, but all this energy has to go somewhere. And somewhere does it go. or: i am a strong believer in 'if enough people believe, then it is' deity worldbuilding, and the iron swords have not been creating a pretty god for themselves
