Fics like the why you can('t) break Meeple's rules

“Nobody cheats in the mighty Meeple's games,” they said, putting the rule book on the table. “Not even the good cop.” The venom wrapped up in the way they said "good" made Larry's circuits burn. “I could justify my actions with the simple excuse that I don't know enough about this game to cheat at it, but the act of breaking any rule is automatically worthy of punishment,” said Larry, in his usual categorical tone, but which still carried a certain sarcasm that provoked a reaction from Meeple. “Er... Uhm... Well, like it or not, you still broke the rules!” Meeple pointed their plump hand at Larry's face. “My rules.” Or, Meeple makes Larry break the rules of their game and punishes him for it.
