He was silent for so long that Twitch began to think he had slipped into some weird stasis but Soundwave responded to her accusation abruptly. “Soundwave thought he knew Megatron,” he replied and Twitch swore that the Decepticon sounded bitter, hurt even. “Soundwave did not.” ___ A chance encounter with Soundwave leaves Megatron in a serious condition, his mind shattered and trapped in his past as D16. With Ratchet on Cybertron, his only hope to ever recover is the illusive Knock-Out who disappeared after defecting from the Decepticons years before the war ended. Someone who only Megatron himself could find. Deep scars begin to be reopened as the consequences of a foolish and rash decision.
