Fics like Kiss Me At Midnight

“So what do you figure? I show up unannounced to a building full of Slayers? You want me to end up in an ashtray?” “No, silly!” Fred’s face lit up with excitement. “They’re having a New Year’s Eve party at a hotel in the city. I figure you slip in while they’re partying, find Buffy, and have yourselves a nice chat. Maybe even sneak a kiss at midnight.” “You’ve watched too many romcoms, pet. Buffy hasn’t snogged me in ages, doubt she’ll want my lips anywhere near hers, reunion or not.” “Nonsense! She’ll see you and melt completely, mark my words.” Or: Spike goes to see Buffy on NYE instead of sticking it out with Angel and crew, and the happy ending we all deserved happens :)
