Fics like Empty Cup

Yeo Woon, who was coerced into an assassin guild at age 12, has uncomfortable associations with wine: his father was a drunk who beat him, and his primary mentor, the head of the assassin guild, is a hard drinker too. This fic follows Woon from his first drink as a child, through his celebratory graduation from a warrior camp for boys at age 18, and onto other times he's coped with the job he hates by self-medicating with wine. Drama, humor, and the big honking trauma behind Woon's identity crises. In the first chapter, 12-year-old boys steal wine sent by Prince Sado to his warrior training camp. Woon realizes he's not like the other boys because of all his secrets (like being a member of a murderous death cult) and maybe his inherently dark soul. THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS: expect 6-8 chapters (I'm cutting scenes right now).
