Fics like In the Hands of her Flame

Darkness swallowed her. The icy water choked out the world above. Then the Cauldron’s presence coiled around her. Whispering, as its claws raked through her skin and mind, searching, changing her. Its talons found three golden threads tethering her to something vital—one by one, it severed them. The fire consumed her. But even as it burned, she fought back. She would not surrender. — Torn from her mortal life and forced into an immortal body she never wanted, Nesta must navigate the terrifying new world of the Fae. Haunted by what was taken from her, and what she has become, she battles the weight of grief, rage, and a past that refuses to release its hold. But even as she fights against the power now thrumming in her veins, the world demands more from her: to find her place, to forge new bonds, and perhaps, to open her guarded heart to a love she never expected. A reimagining of A Court of Thorns and Roses from Nesta’s perspective, with many many liberties taken. Part 2 is up!
