Fics like empty spaces

Teru didn’t close his eyes, that he was sure. Still, he couldn’t recall his trip to the hospital, or the first aid that the paramedics and then nurses offered him, or the horrified faces of the patients cluttering the neighboring rooms. All these details were told to him in patches by other people; the hospital employees. He supposedly went through emergency surgery less than an hour after he arrived, and the anesthetist called it a miracle that he had no sequelae. None of that he would have known. Nothing, nothing but his and Kageyama’s fight. Those memories didn’t arrive in flashes. They were burned into his brain. --- Teruki is horrified to have feared Mob after the events of January incident. He is forced to deal with this dread, guilt and the consequences of his obsession as he has to reevaluate his relationship with not only Mob, but with all the people closest to him.
