Fics like A Better Mirror

Dream was well aware of his flaws. People loved to tell him about them to his face. Why do you stand so stiffly? Can’t you act normal for five minutes? You’re so dramatic. You’re so arrogant. Why are you so quiet? You’re too romantic. You’re too cold. You’re too much. You’re not enough. You’re lucky you’re so pretty. He lost count of how many people told him that particular fact about himself. (Dream and Hob move in together, and Dream is desperate to never look anything less than perfect. After all, his looks are all he has.)
