Fics like it's like we're having deja, deja vu

Being backstage for somebody else’s set was like sitting in your friend’s kitchen while they cook dinner. Nobody else keeps their shit in exactly the places you do, so the whole operation looks uncanny-valley. Even Sirens had reorganized as the members turned over, and Vic used to be able to navigate their weird-ass setup blindfolded. That wasn’t a metaphor, by the way. The When We Were Young festival schedule lines up perfectly for Vic and Kellin to carry on their annual tradition of singing King for a Day together behaving like horny twenty-somethings backstage.
