Fics like What We Deserve

"The worst memory they shared, together, was being forced back upon them but strong they remained, and the arcane fought against them; but the arcane did not know emotion the way humans did, and in its pursuit of winning underestimated that love would always overcome it." -- Jayce and Viktor sacrificed their lives to save everyone in Piltover, but instead of dying they are granted a second chance and sent to an alternate timeline where the hexgates aren't built. Jayce wakes up first and struggles with the aftermath of the choices he has made leading him to this point, but when Viktor joins him he thinks his dreams of a new life with Viktor are finally here but things don't go the way he had imagined they would, but one thing he knows for sure, he loves Viktor even if Viktor doesn't love himself, and he was going to make sure he knew it. -- Art by @groverbeans Chap 1, 3, 7 Art by @enabuns Chap 13
