Fics like Peripherals

This is so chaotic. There’s too much going on, and Loki tries to figure out if he should make a run for it or not when the silver case that was in Kevlar Man’s hand slides across the floor following his fly across the room, clatters to the ground, and tips open, spewing its contents out onto the tile. The Tesseract rolls away and stops just a few feet from Loki. He stares down at it for a long second. It’s close enough that if he moved to the side, he could easily bend over and grab it. He looks up to make sure no one is watching him. But they are, there is someone staring directly at him, and Loki’s blood runs cold. —— Loki keeps seeing things. Thanos never left his head, and the voices and images grow until they become deafening. Written for Whumptober Day #14: “Cause I want you to know what it feels like to be haunted.”
