Fics like the saviour and the spy

“We pulled your old case files,” Jon says lowly, leaning closer. “So either someone’s impersonating you, or you’re…” His eyes are pleading. Begging. Please don’t be real, they’re saying. Don’t do this. Don’t make me do this. Jon’s face is slammed into the couch before he can react. Damian stands in front of him, foot planted on his back. “You don’t kill,” he says. Softly, looking for any hint of that in Damian’s face. Damian draws out the lead-lined cause given to him years ago. Jon doubles over almost instantly, collapses on the floor. Damian strolls leisurely towards him, squats down, and takes the chance to dig a dagger into his gut, deep. Jon chokes. Blood starts to seep out. “I don’t today,” Damian whispers. *** or: Damian’s betrayal to his lies. Being the grandson of the demon would never leave him, but the demon could. Damian just had to make that happen.
