Fics like A Home for a Padawan

This was his third meeting with the Melida/Daan Delegation, and Senator Bail Antilles felt like he had more questions than when he had first met them. They were still odd, especially with the way their third member had yet to speak in a single meeting. Blue eyes trained on him in such a way he hadn’t even realized the child had been looking at him. Indeed, he probably wouldn’t have noticed a thing if his security attaché hadn’t mentioned it. But now that it was brought to his attention, Senator Antilles couldn’t help but notice the surreptitious glances shot towards him, and every member of his staff. Most of the meetings were handled by the delegate with brown and red hair, with occasional input from the scruffier member of their party though their own eyes seemed to be tracking something unseen. Ingress and egress points. Captain Ansorg had said, voice steady even though her eyes were sad. They’re looking for an evac route. What children needed to be so weary? Or the Melida/Daan Civil War ends differently, leaving Obi-Wan Kenobi—now known as Ben—to try and learn what it means to rebuild a civilization with a bunch of traumatized teens. But more than that, Ben finds a home.
