Fics like the moments in between
Harry came back from death not quite himself. Sirius came back from death exactly the same. They soon realise being alive isn't the same as living. He doesn’t understand what’s happened. His muscles tense and he prepares to throw himself at the stranger, to overpower and steal his wand if necessary, but the man simply stands there. Staring at him. Sirius doesn’t relax, not fully, but his gaze narrows onto the shocked eyes behind glasses— James? is his first confused thought. Harry? is his second when it dawns on him that those eyes are green.
