Fics like waiting down the hall for me, up against the wall with me

He couldn’t quite get his head around the fact that Ethan Hunt: IMF Agent extraordinaire actually wanted to talk to him. Him. Benji. He couldn’t help but feel conscious. I mean, there was Ethan- all tanned and handsome and rugged- walking to get coffee with Benji, who wouldn’t look out of place trying to upsell you on a phone contract you didn’t need. It wasn’t like he hadn’t noticed the looks from his colleagues either. He’d been asked how he’d managed it, making friends with an IMF legend. He couldn’t ever really give them a straight answer, simply telling anyone who asked that he’d gotten close with Ethan while helping him take down Owen Davian. He hesitated to tell them about the bit afterward- what with the divorce, and Ethan coming back to the office looking like a sexy little lost puppy, and Benji swooping in with comforting words and an invitation to lunch. ——— Benji has a crush on Ethan, who certainly doesn’t help matters by being all handsome and lovely.
