Fics like of the self in the other

Freshly-formed ghost fire Ban Yue, still reeling from her death and her betrayal of a whole city, retreats to the tomb of General Hua to pay her respects, to rest, and to try and find some comfort and purpose in the memory of the man who raised her. What she finds instead is an intruder in red, who seems to have his own interest in General Hua. In return for stories about him, the ghost in red promises to help her get stronger so she can fulfill whatever purpose has kept her here. Training montages and sibling nonsense (and also angst, so much of that) ensue!
