Fics like Past in Present

Maybe she was dreaming, imagining things just before she died. Her Mar-Mar, he stood in front of her like an angel from heaven to take her home. Except angels didn’t sweat, they didn’t bleed, and Marth… he looked like he’d fought his way to get to her. The Falchion burned a bright red in his hands, like her mother’s flame. “Are you alright?” he asked, his voice still exactly the same as she remembered it. Noble, kind. The voice of a King. “M-Mar-Mar?” Tiki asked, barely able to believe it. The pain in her leg confirmed that yes, she was still alive. “Is… no, it can’t be you.” ----- While clearing out a tomb full of Risen in the Outrealms, Tiki's faced with her past in the most unexpected way possible. Maybe, just maybe, it's what she needed all along. Fathers don't stop looking after their daughters, after all.
