Fics like Lights up

Lewis. On crowded streets, he's one of those ghosts whose light shines through. One of those inky-black hearts. He couldn't find the courage to run away from the monsters who steal children's innocence at night. Now a freedom-loving adult, he wanders the dark streets, hiding behind a face on which the sun has never shone, two eyes that contain all the beauty of the universe. Henry, with his angelic smile and proud chest, is the stuff of dreams the world over. Yet under his shirt is a scar that reminds him every second that life is hanging by a thread. Trapped in a world that is no longer his own, and in love with adventure, he waits for a sign of destiny to finally set him free. One stormy evening, he arrives with the freedom he's always dreamed of in his eyes. But being himself requires a courage he's not sure he has. They'll throw themselves headlong into a race that, while shattering everything they believed in, will make them realize that sometimes, in a kiss, lies all the richness of the world. Each will pour an ocean of light into the other's life. It's not an end, but the beginning of something.
