Fics like listen to me, i cannot see clearly (isn't that she, or am i just going crazy?)

“Vi,” She responds quietly, smiling at the vision (because that's what Vi is, even after a fight– an absolute vision of a woman) in front of her. Both of her hands come up to cradle Caitlyn's face, and she willingly leans into it. “You're bleeding… are you– alright?” “Am I alright–” Vi repeats the question, eyes welling up with tears– and Caitlyn brings her own hand up, it shakes so terribly, to caress Vi's cheek. She misjudges the distance, again– why? –and touches the air instead. She gets it on the second try. “–Oh, Cait, your eye.” “I'm okay,” She assures her quietly, “I'm alright, Violet. I'm okay.” --- Or, it's the aftermath (and more) of the final battle, Caitlyn struggles with the loss of her eye, and Vi is just an amazing girlfriend.
