Fics like Blue Bucket of Gold

After being kicked out of Princeton, Lyle Menendez returns to his affluent, yet deeply dysfunctional home after over a year away. As the brothers now reunite, their shared trauma binds them together and tears them apart. Erik, now confident yet deeply scarred, is grappling with his journey of self-discovery, including coming to terms with his sexuality in the shadow of their controlling and abusive father. Meanwhile, Lyle finds himself spiraling into substance abuse and recklessness, wrestling with growing feelings of attraction toward Erik
