Fics like Whiskey And Brimstone, Evens And Odds

The revolver felt heavy in his hand as he finally gained the will to lift it up. His shoulder screamed in pain as it was strained, but if he didn’t keep a hand on the bullet in his stomach, he’d meet a slower death in the end anyways. His aim was unsteady. And with the sun in his eyes - he - he couldn’t see a damn thing. Meaning he couldn’t teleport, either. He hears the spurs as they approach his form, blood soaking into the sand beneath them. Hears the barrel of a revolver rattle. Hears them chuckle, dryly. “Looks like yer time is up, dev-” And - unsurprisingly - hears their scream as they’re body slammed back into the saloon doors. ---- Kurt and Logan were an unlikely duo. Maybe, that's why they worked so well together.
