Fics like Monster

No room for hesitation, no room for sentiment. Only two outcomes mattered: they would make it, or they wouldn’t. If he fell tonight, his people would survive him, move on as they were meant to. “Ready to break a few toys?” Zhou Zishu murmured, the words slipping out sharper than he intended. Wen Kexing’s smile widened, eyes glinting with a savage delight. “Just point me at the fun, and I’ll make it scream,” he replied, his voice low, heavy with a thrill that promised violence. Zhou Zishu gave a brief nod, his grip tightening despite the pain radiating from his wounds. No room for hesitation; they would either walk away from this, or they wouldn’t. ———- Wen Kexing is a dangerously pretty psycho, Zhou Zishu is allergic to feelings (his own, mostly), and there’s an unreasonable amount of blood, secret plots, and maybe a touch of found family nonsense. Not that Zhou Zishu needs any of that. He’s absolutely not a fainting maiden, thank you very much—just ignore the part where Wen Kexing keeps carrying him around. ———- The story is finished! I’m posting chapters more or less once a day, as fast as I can polish and double-check each one. The entire fic should be up before Christmas!
