Fics like The Shield VS The Truth

All Khan Doorman wants is his mother's respect. All Uzi Doorman wants is her son's safety. Unfortunately, Khan is a hardass and Uzi never has a moment to herself. With neither drone able to show each other they care, it leads to the youngest Doorman heading to the snowy cities to "prove himself." And as Uzi goes out to search for him, she stumbles across a sole Worker Drone milling about in the snow. Although he acts and talks odd, she takes him in to prevent a death by killer robots. As for Khan, he ends up befriending the Murder Drone he tried to kill. Although it cost him a few worker lives and a self-imposed exile. And possibly his own mother??? - AKA: A swap au where Uzi and Khan switch places, along with many other characters in spots they probably shouldn't be. Mostly taken seriously, but the initial idea was a joke, so that'll come to a head eventually 🤭
