Fics like Running the Gauntlet

Apparently, spending most of his life running from yokai made Natsume faster than the average person. Natsume had experienced a lot of reoccurring horrors, but the most annoying of them was being hounded by track coaches at every school he went to. And then, one fateful sports day at his school, he wins a relay race for the sake of friendship and his personal hell returns... This was based on a silly tumblr post I made about how great at running Natsume must be,and what if track coaches noticed that, which I'll link in the description. Tumblr user schrodingersauthorii also left a comment on said post that gave me an idea for parts of the fic. Lots of friendship in this, lots of everyone loving and wanting to protect Natsume, all that good stuff.
