Fics like A Requiem for Eden

"For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." - Leviticus 17:11 An assignment to a top-secret Weyland Yutani research base could have meant many things for a brilliant scientist and a gifted engineer. Further opportunities, guaranteed futures, an escape from mediocrity. Neither Evelyn Kane nor Marie Marshall expected to find each other. The ice queen and the firebrand could have made for a beautiful love story. But New Eden is no place for love. The Company wants nothing less than the elixir of life - and that means extracting it from the most lethal beings in the universe. Creatures who corrupt and destroy all that they touch. When paradise turns into hell, what will you do to survive? Constructive criticism welcome.
