Fics like A Mile In My Own Shoes
A single mistake can have devastating consequences. But every action has an equal and opposite reaction... Three days before Sunny is due to leave Faraway, Aubrey wakes up in a world where she has everything she’s ever wanted: Mari's alive, her former friend group is intact—hell! She's even dating her old crush! By all accounts it should be a dream come true... but it feels like a nightmare. Can Aubrey accept this new reality? Will this world even accept her? And what happened to the girl whose life she just hijacked? TLDR: Aubrey gets isekai’d into an everyone-lives AU, swapping places with her counterpart. Angst and fluff ensues (with just a little bit of crack, as a treat). ACT 1- Rude Awakenings: 1 - 12. ACT 2- Oh, Mari: 13 - ? ACT 3: ?
