Fics like Good things about Peter Smith-Kingsley

‘I hadn’t really expected it to go like this,’ he admitted, craning his head so he could look at Tom. Tom was already looking up at him, one of his eyes slightly closed from the way his cheek rested on Peter’s shoulder. ‘Like what?’ he asked, and Peter smiled. ‘You know. First we argue about Meredith, then you break my heart with the way you talk about yourself. Then you end up crying. And next thing you know, we’re suddenly having sex. You have to admit that’s a rather unusual way for a conversation to end.’ Tom was quiet for a second. Then he muttered almost inaudibly: ‘I can think of some more unusual ways for a conversation to end.’ Peter didn’t ask what he meant. *** In which Peter and Tom's conversation at the end of the movie ends a little differently, and Tom in turn lists off everything good about Peter Smith-Kingsley - only to then have it end in roughly the same way. Sorry, guys. No happy endings here.
