Fics like Walk away (and fall back)

"Bruce, do you want... advice? Parenting advice? From me?" Clark was shocked. *** "I didn't take Dick to his parents' graves this year." Clark was silent for a moment. "So, you already know what they're hiding?" "They're not hiding anything." "Bruce-" Clark stifled a laugh. "They're your kids and they're avoiding you. You're the world's greatest detective. Come on." "They're avoiding me because they're growing up and they don't need me. I adopted Dick and he almost didn't have a choice. It was me or the system and you know how bad it is for Incubi. And Cassandra was a living weapon. It's not like she could have gone to a normal, commercial-type family." A flash of anger crossed Clark's face. *** Or, Bruce wants to be enough and tries and tries and tries again. Dick decides it's his turn to be an adult. Alfred tries to intervene. Clark Kent is on the verge of hysterics. Also: Bruce had kids early. He's becoming a dad more slowly.
