Fics like Theological Fatalism (And Your Lack of Free Will)

“…how can it be that God has foreknowledge of all future events, and yet that we do not sin by necessity?” — Evodius, On Free Choice of the Will — In the vast expanse of the multiverse, every impossibility is possible. All it takes is a single detail— that one butterfly flapping its wings in the right place at the right time. The result is the multiverse. Out of infinitely many butterflies, one just happened to make an improbable probability all the more probable. Time shattered, but Time remained. A god who sits on his throne for eternity opens his eyes to the void. A new branch grows from the infinite tree. — Or; Even the one who sees every timeline at once cannot predict every infinite possibility. The God of Stories definitely didn’t predict this.
