Fics like Spoons

When Dean Winchester accepts a job at Goldenwoods Publishing, he doesn't expect to start delivering work files to the editor-in-chief. Although the exchange lasts for five years, Castiel Novak stays impersonal and distant. Dean doesn't know what to think of his mood swings, his cane, and him. The author, Ruby Cassidy, changes everything when her demanding and perfectionist nature brings the whole team at Goldenwoods together. Dean slowly starts to spend more time with his boss, in the office and delivering files to him, and his feelings about him blossom into something much more. It all starts to unravel when he learns about Castiel's past and what has kept him in his home for the last five years. "The next time he looks at you, just look at him too. I mean, really look at him. It’s… it’s like magic."
