Fics like meet hideous

Ah, Jon realises, he's probing for an intellectual discussion about their shared hatred of poetry. Of course! "It's… unimaginative. They can describe a scene, certainly, but the writing feels devoid of any feeling other than disproportionate wide-eyed wonder. In fact, their only inspiration seems to be rain, the streets of London, and rain on the streets of London. Not to mention that their writing style is so enamoured with Keats that it lacks any distinction of its own. What do you think of it?" Jon does not seem to have given the man the intellectual stimulation that he's looking for. "Oh…" His eyebrows are nearing his hairline. His front teeth overlap, Jon notes when he offers a nervous smile. That's quite cute. "Um, I- I wrote it?"
