There she was again. That woman in red. Nacho’s jaw clenched as he watched her lean in close to Lalo, her fingers brushing the sleeve of his shirt, her head tilting back in laughter at something he’d said. Lalo had that look on his face, that infuriating smirk that said he knew exactly what he was doing. He was playing with her, letting her get too close, flirting in that lazy way of his that made it seem like it was all a game. And it was—Lalo was always in control, always just on the edge of danger, but never fully stepping into it. But Nacho didn’t like the way Lalo’s hand lingered on her waist, or how she pressed herself against him as if it was nothing. Every touch, every smile felt like a needle pricking at Nacho’s skin, and the more he watched, the hotter his blood boiled.
