Fics like Cracks in the Ice

Korra is the fierce new transfer student at Republic City High, a hockey prodigy with a rough past and a chip on her shoulder. She hides her struggles behind her skill on the ice and keeps everyone at arm's length—until she meets Asami Sato. Intrigued by Korra's mysterious demeanor and determination, Asami makes it her mission to break through Korra’s walls, leading to an unexpected friendship that blossoms into something deeper. As Korra battles her turbulent home life and chases her dream of going pro, her bond with Asami strengthens, giving her the love and support she never knew she needed. Alongside their close-knit group of friends—Opal, Jinora, and Bolin—they navigate the ups and downs of high school, love, and the challenges that come with growing up.
