Fics like What the Heart Wants

“Tell me honestly,” [Adolin] said. “With an oath. Tell me that you should be left alone tonight. Swear it to me.” After their return from Hearthstone, Kaladin had been dismissed from active duty by Dalinar, giving him time to heal. Kaladin must now learn to grapple with his new role in Urithiru, wanting to be left alone in his misery, while also grappling with his newfound feelings for Adolin, who proposes a unique relationship between him, Shallan, and Kaladin. All they want is for Kaladin to be happy. And they can all be happy, together.
