Fics like The Tower

- The Tower XVI - 'Representing destruction, upheaval, chaos, ambitions and goals made on false premises.' It wasn't Taylor's fault the outside world terrified her. It wasn't her fault she spent 7 years locked in her home, horrified at the thought of going outside. That was fine. She could live with that. She could do more than just live. She could be a hero. She could help people. She could save people... all without ever leaving her room. Even as her body fell apart, even as her mental health declined more and more. She could help people. And at the end of it all, she could find love. She could find someone who would help take care of her when she couldn't take care of herself. She could find a place where she was finally safe. It only made sense. Every Dragon needed a Princess. And every Princess needed a Tower. (Inspired by the absolutely rancid snip by CowEnthusiast, 'Hatsune Dragon'. It infests my brain, and I must fumigate the property by writing a happier version.)
