Fics like On the Bloodied Path I Take to You

Upon waking up from protecting Wei Ying after the Nightless City massacre, Lan Zhan discovers that Wei Ying is dead. Overcome with grief, he takes out his anger on the elders responsible. After, he goes to the Burial Mounds, intending to take his own life. Instead, he discovers A-Yuan and resolves to take care of the child until the boy is self-sufficient. On the cusp of adulthood, A-Yuan fears that every day may be the last day he sees his father. Thankfully, Wei Ying is resurrected in the nick of time, banishing such suicidal thoughts from Lan Zhan's mind. There's just one thing: "Lan Zhan, what do you mean you've seceded from the Lan Sect?!"
