Fics like kick drum heart
Jungkook has forgotten to drop Jimin’s hand, and the connection between them flares like a sparkler across Jimin’s skin. “Of course I’m staying,” Jimin says quietly, much too quietly for a noisy club, but Jungkook seems to get the message. His nose crinkles up as a smile splits his face, a smile as familiar to Jimin as his own heartbeat. Jimin’s fears about things feeling awkward between them seem ridiculous now. Everything about seeing Jungkook again feels like relief. Like belonging, even in this unfamiliar club in a distant town. or: Jimin takes a chance, hoping that his old friend Jungkook, drummer of a popular punk band, misses Jimin just as much as he misses Jungkook.
