Fics like Twice as Bright, Half as Long

||[COMPLETED]|| --- Marcille Donato is every bit unsatisfied with her life as she is determined to make it work. Confusing new course loads, a mother she feels too expected to impress, and a rather nasty case of isolation thanks to anxiety she struggles to control. Then, she meets the Touden Siblings, who run a Plant Nursery just outside of her university. But more than that, she meets Falin. Falin, charming, wonderful, kind Falin Touden. Falin Touden, who's dying. Falin Touden, who's dying of... becoming a dragon. On what's probably the most irresponsible and unpredictable choice she's ever made in her entire life, Marcillle pitches a far-out idea: a road trip, paid for by her, to knock off every last thing on Falin's bucket list. Whether or not they reach the end is not up for debate. Marcille's in love with a girl who's dying of becoming a dragon, gosh dangit, and she's gonna do whatever she can to make sure she doesn't leave this world unhappy. Even if it means eating gross, icky monsters. --- Road Trip AU with Marcille, Falin, Laios, a reluctant Chilchuck, Chilchuck's divorce RV, and a hitchhiker with dazzling blue eyes.
