Fics like say you want me (that's how it works)

“I shouldn't have any fucking complaints, okay? I know that. But I just…” Alex sniffs, and Henry wonders in horror if he's on the verge of tears. “I wish people wanted me for… more.” “More,” Nora repeats, sounding infinitely less antagonistic all of a sudden. “What do you mean?” “Not just for my body, or sex,” Alex clarifies, and there is the distinct sound of a chair creaking before he continues. “Is it too much to ask for someone to want all of me? For… For Henry to want all of me?” Oh, but Henry does. He would do anything that Alex asked, give Alex everything he has, and take whatever Alex offered without question. Part of Henry wants to burst through the barrier separating them, drop to his knees in front of Alex and offer up his bruised and scarred heart. The organ hasn't belonged to Henry since the moment he laid eyes on Alexander Claremont-Diaz, and Henry would give Alex all of the more he could ever want, if given permission. Alex should know that. It's Henry's fault that he doesn't. --- or, a one-night stand, an overheard conversation, and two idiots (affectionate)
