Fics like How Will This Bullet Earn Its Value?

Dimly, while the last of the crowd slowly dispersed around him, Special Officer Alluri Rama Raju wondered if he would ever stop shaking. He had stumbled away from the scaffold at the first opportunity, bright red in the blur of khaki, dust, and barbed wire, weaving through the chaos like a droplet of blood trickling through the sand. A river of blood. *** This fic picks up right after the flogging, roughly follows the plot and carries on until after the end of the movie for all the RamBheem Hurt/Comfort. The important canon divergence is that Ram talks to Malli before executing his plan, (apologising profusely to her), and once Bheem and Malli are on the run, she tells him the truth about Ram's mission. Oh, and I guess the other canon divergence is that they're in love, but if that's not already canon to you, what are you doing here?
